Thought Matters: Doms' Arrival in Singapore

Ever since I arrived here in Singapore, I've been counting the days til Jan 17, 2009. I have this printed calendar that I posted in front of me here in my desk and I cross out the past dates. It really gets me excited when the crossed-out dates are nearing "the day".

Doms plane arrived at exactly 10:05 am. I was nearing tears when the little screen int he airport said, LANDED. Finally, my baby is here already! He came out of everything from getting his luggage and the immigration and all the other stuff at 10:40 and we went back to my, or rather, our place.

Our first stop was our room. He settled in and he rested for a while. Then, we went to Lucky Plaza to have his money changed to Singapore Dollar (sgd). Then, we ate our lunch there. After that, we went around orchard road then we decided to go home for a while.

Doms former officemates Recy Albay, Carmina Hernandez and RJ Olaso were planning a meet up and we ended up meeting and eating in Pepper Lunch in Wheelock Place, Orchard. After a series of photo-ops along Orchard Road, we had coffee in Starbucks.

All in all, the days was really a fun day. At least, my baby is here with me already and we can try out different restos and places together.
